In modern medicine, a physician’s expertise is enhanced by intelligent technologies that provide absolute control over every second of anesthesia, ensuring unprecedented safety for the child and cost-effectiveness for the facility through precise drug dosing. Under the cooperation agreement dated December 23, 2025, our organization, at the request of Taras Melnyk, Director General of the IFOHKL IF OR Public Non-Profit Enterprise, donated professional equipment to the facility: an Agilia SP TIVA syringe infusion pump and a Conox sensor. Why is this equipment critically important?
Providing high-quality support during complex surgeries (neurosurgery, ophthalmology, and ENT) requires equipment that leaves no room for error. The Agilia SP TIVA significantly outperforms its counterparts in several key areas: • Maximum anesthesia control: The system features the largest number of built-in pharmacokinetic models, including Marsh, Schneider, and Minto. Unlike competitors (such as B. Braun Space), this pump features specialized pediatric models: Paedfusor and Kataria. • Plasma and Effect modes: Both target concentration modes are available for Propofol and pediatric programs, whereas major competitors often offer only the Plasma mode. This allows the physician to monitor the patient’s condition with maximum responsiveness. • Cost-effectiveness and efficiency: Thanks to ultra-precise dosing and support for high infusion rates (up to 1,200 mL/hour for 50/60 mL syringes), medication use is optimized to the fullest extent. This reduces the consumption of expensive medications while ensuring a stable clinical effect. • Safety Without Compromise: The device features 22 levels of occlusion pressure limits and a protected piston housing, which prevents accidental malfunctions caused by external impacts or interference. Help That’s Already in Action This equipment is already integrated into the hospital’s anesthesiology department, helping doctors focus on saving lives while entrusting the technical aspects to intelligent automation. We are grateful to every donor whose contribution made this possible.
